Strawberry Tiramisu

Mix together 500ml Mascarpone, \250ml Bumpercrop Tuscan Strawberry Jam and 500ml whipped 35%cream,

Set aside

Layer lady fingers dipped in Framboise in a dish, top with ¼ of the Bumpercrop Tuscan Strawberry Jam mixture and continue to layer ending with the  Bumpercrop Tuscan Strawberry Jam mixture. Let set in fridge for a few hours. Before serving, dust with cocoa powder and icing sugar mixed together. Serve and enjoy!


Top pound cake, & vanilla gelato with warmed  Bumpercrop Tuscan Strawberry Jam.  Garnish with a mint sprig.

Something different to serve alongside stinky cheeses and garlicky salumi

Bumpercrop Twisted Pears rock with Holiday ham, roasted turkey or pork


On a cutting board place Bumpercrop Twisted Pears with a very creamy ripe triple cream cheese and a strong blue cheese.  Add toasted walnuts or pecans.  Serve after dinner with a lovely Armagnac.


Wrap Bumpercrop Twisted Pears in prosciutto  and place under the broiler for 1 minute until crispy.  Serve as an appetizer with Manhattan’s or Cinzano on the rocks.

Serve Bumpercrop Green Tomato Garlic Jam works brilliantly beside assorted salumi’s and cheeses.


A twist on a baked Brie is to slice off the top of a Brie or Camenbert and top with Bumpercrop Green Tomato Garlic Jam and bake for approximately 15 minutes at 3500 until bubbling.  

Serve alongside gourmet crackers and crusty slices of walnut bread. 


Bumpercrop Green Tomato Garlic Jam Crostini:

Slice a baguette thinly on the diagonal.  Toast lightly and let cool.  Smear with a creamy goat cheese, 1 slice of prosciutto and top with Green Tomato Garlic Jam.

Any Ontario Sparkling Wine with Bumpercrop Sweet Vanilla Rhubarb works deliciously. 

Green Tomato Garlic Jam

Drain Mostarda Cranberries and reserve the liquid.  Ask your butcher to butterfly your favourite cut of lamb or pork.

Open it on a cutting board and cover with cranberries, salt and pepper.  Roll up the meat, tie and bake according to your butcher’s instructions. 

In a frying pan, fry 2 onions that are thinly sliced.  When they are golden, add Bumpercrop Mostarda Cranberry liquid, boil and reduce to half of the original amount. 

Then add 125 mL of 35% cream. 

Serve alongside the meat.


Bumpercrop Mostarda Cranberries are also delicious along side roast poultry and smoked hams.
